Master Bathroom Window Remodel

2 comments:
After moving into our new house, I realized that our large 46" x 46" window in the master bathroom was going to be a challenge.  We have the woods in our backyard, but that doesn't change the vulnerability that I felt when going to take a shower.  I wanted to be able to walk into the bathroom and enjoy the nature of our backyard without blocking the natural sunlight or purchasing new blinds.  So, with all major decisions that I make, I procrastinated, which by the way is not always a bad thing.  I just needed the time to think about how this was going to work.

Creative Exchange 2013

No comments:
So this is my first round in participating in the Creative Exchange hosted by The Grant Life, Covered in Mod Podge and Covered in Grace.  It wasn't something on my "to do list" but I can't help myself, I just love making something fun for a random fellow blogger.

So long 2012 and HELLO 2013!
I thought that I would bring to you some of my most favorite quotes that I have found on Pinterest.
This is not a list of ALL of my favorites, however, I have been inspired by them and hope that you will too.....that is, if you haven't already read them.

Christmas Fabric and Burlap Banner Pendant

No comments:
Since this is our first Christmas in our new home I decided that I was going to make SOMETHING to add to our lovely abode by making some holiday decorations to fit.  So, after much thought, I decided to create a beautiful banner pendant for our mantel.

Now, I've seen hundreds of pendants all over the internet and have always loved them, so it wasn't all that hard to see that I needed to go ahead and make one.  Here is a close up of this lovely piece of work!

My First Craft Market: Craftapalooza Update

No comments:
Craftapalooza 2012 was the very first live event for My Sparkled Life.
*The weather was absolutely perfect
*The neighbor vendors were super fun to work next too and
*The walkers/customers were a delight.

Here is a picture collage of my booth.  Please excuse the picture with me in it, my daughter pretty much is a 50/50 type photographer, meaning that there is a 50% chance that it'll be great and 50% chance that you wonder why it's taking so long and she needs to hurry up and take the picture because I am starting to feel weird just standing there and smiling....I love her so much!!
